Today will be a short post, it has been very busy and I find myself not even getting started until nearly 10:30 at night.
Molly has got a nasty cold, so nasty that I even had to send her to bed early the other night, she hate being sent to bed because she say it feels like a punishment, she likes when we go to bed at the same time. We have a few bedtime rituals that have developed over the years that she never likes to miss. She also likes my body heat now that the weather has gotten colder.
In spite of her being ill she did manage to do a lot of thing for me today since it is my birthday. The most romantic of these things is a series of tweets #56thingsaboutdomsigns She also took me out for a birthday brunch and made me my favorite dinner.
I got a few birthday presents from the kids and in-laws that I most certainly will enjoy. But the best gift of all is her and that is a gift that I get to enjoy every single day. She always hates gift giving holidays because she worries far too much about what she should get me, mostly because I am difficult and refuse to write a gift list.
I tell her the same thing every single time.
You are the best present any man could ever receive, I don’t need anything more.
